Fall time is coffee time!
There is a reason why we tend to drink coffee more in the fall season than the summer or spring. Is it because we need to for work? Is it because we get up earlier in the day? Or is it the weather outside that has us craving coffee?
Regardless of your reason, everyone can agree that autumn is coffee time! One main reason can be based on the variety of different recipes available during the season.

Recipe #1: Classic Caramel
Ingredients:
- Coffee
- Whip cream
- Caramel Sauce
- Salt (optional)
- Ice (optional)
Caramel is a hallmark fall flavor. It would be difficult to not start with this autumn classic! Just like how people say "caramel" differently, people also eat caramel differently. With your caramel, try adding a hint of salt to make a clean salty caramel dressing.
This drink can be on the sweeter side, so be sure to watch how much creamer you add! Many different creamers can work with a caramel latte, so it's up to you.
For a cold beverage, you can use a blender to make a delicious, icy latte. During this, add your salted or unsalted caramel. Add your favorite fall-styled coffee and enjoy!
Recipe #2: Pumpkin Spice
Ingredients:
- Coffee
- Cinnamon
- Pumpkin spice or puree
- Whip cream
- Steamed milk
Similar to the classic caramel latte, you cannot miss out on pumpkin spice coffee this fall! It may be considered basic, but it's something you will probably end up having only during autumn, so make it worth it!
Whether you use pumpkin puree or spice, adding a small amount to your coffee can do the job. The other ingredient you will need is cinnamon, which will be the topping on the whip cream.
Adding some whip cream can really help sweeten the pot and bring your coffee together. While you may be tempted to use pumpkin spice creamer, be sure to not overdo it! Sometimes the best coffee requires just a simple change and some steamed milk.
Recipe #3: Cinnamon Chocolate
Ingredients:
- Coffee (this recipe pairs best with our Brazilian coffee)
- Cinnamon
- Chocolate syrup
- Whip cream
Cinnamon goes much further than just pumpkin spice. Have you tried a combination of cinnamon topping and a little bit of chocolate? This one is for those who like the simpler things in life and don't require a lot of preparation in their coffee.
This drink will be great as a cold beverage, but a hot beverage works too. But, be careful with how much chocolate you use. Adding too much of it can overthrow the subtle cinnamon taste.
Recipe #4: Caramel Apple
Ingredients:
- Coffee (preferably our Columbian)
- Apple syrup or apple spice
- Steamed milk
- Whip cream
- Caramel
Imagine: you are walking around a fall festival and see a stand selling caramel apples. What screams "it's FALL" more than caramel apples? Enjoy this recipe to bring together two tasty treats: caramel apple and coffee!
Make yourself a classic latte with a fresh layer of frothed milk on top and then the rest is seasonal! This drink will taste best with apple coffee syrup you can purchase from the store. Add the syrup to your coffee to give it the signature apple taste. On top, add your whip cream and drizzle apple spice. Then, infuse your coffee with caramel with a slight drizzle.
This recipe will be best done with our Columbian coffee. Our Columbian coffee has natural flavor notes that includes apple & chocolate, making it the perfect selection for a caramel apple coffee!

Recipe #5: Maple Pecan Coffee
Ingredients:
- Coffee
- Maple syrup
- Steamed milk
- Chopped pecans
- Whip cream
This one might be one of the favorites and for good reason. Combining the great taste of maple coffee with crunchy and sweet pecans makes a great case for the best fall coffee recipe.
For this one, start with your cup of coffee and add a couple spoons of maple syrup. Then, give it a slight stir to integrate the maple flavor. Then, add your steamed milk to give it a nice, frothy layer on top. At this point, add whip cream and your chopped pecans and you are done!
